Jared Melamed Dubnow is a Senior Vice President at The Hawthorn Group. In this role, he designs and implements public affairs campaign strategy for various client projects.
Dubnow has spent a decade in Illinois politics, working on multiple statewide campaigns, including that of the last elected Republican governor, as well as on the successful defeat of a ballot initiative that would have raised taxes on businesses and citizens.
In addition to his political experience, Dubnow has served in the public sector. As Director of Operations in the Office of the Governor of Illinois, among other positions, he oversaw external engagement, public events, and the daily functions of the office. Dubnow later served at the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity as the Director of Business Engagement, where he led business recruitment.
Dubnow is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, where he received his B.A. in International Studies and Economics and was a four-year collegiate swimmer. The native Chicagoan is a passionate fan of the hometown sports teams, especially the Cubs. He continues to live in Chicago.
